AgroGeneration

AgroGeneration was created in 2007.  It aims to become a major sustainable producer of food and non food agricultural raw materials.  Its first objective is to put back into production over 400,000ha of non-cultivated or poorly cultivated land in Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan and Romania) by restarting environmentally friendly farming by 2012.  Its target is to produce over 1 million tons of grain through a network of large scale farms in Eastern Europe (5000 to 10,000ha each), leveraging the fertile black soil region (Chernozem or Black Earth) to bring back into cultivation fallow land which has suffered from lack of investment in the last decade.  Farming will be done in a sustainable way, with respectful agricultural practices teaming up with strategic local partners.
